Boryeong Mud Festival

Only from July 19 to 28! Join 2019 Mud Festival with Indiway!

Boryeong Mud Festival is an annual festival held in Boryeong, a town around 200 km south of Seoul. International visitors flock to the beach to goof about in mud parks, swoosh down muddy slides, wrestle in mud pits, decorate their bodies with coloured mud, crawl through mud mazes, land in mud prisons, run marathons in mudflats, become mud dummies, play mud football, lounge in mud baths & luxuriate in mud skin treatments.
The mud is taken from the Boryeong mud flats and trucked to the Daecheon beach area. The mud is considered rich in minerals and used to manufacture cosmetics. This festival is one of the most popular festivals in Korea, just look at the photos and feel the fun!
